The Agent Readiness Index
Our evergreen framework for assessing whether an organisation is ready to run agents in production, across strategy, data, platform, governance, and people.
The Agent Readiness Index scores five dimensions from 0 to 100 and combines them into a weighted overall score. It underpins our online AI Readiness Assessment and the first week of every Opportunity Assessment.
The five dimensions
Strategy (20 %) — Is there agreement on where AI should create value, with owners and budget?
Data (25 %) — Is the data the top use cases need accessible, documented, permissioned, and resident where it must be?
Platform (20 %) — Is there a repeatable, tested path to production, with evaluation and cost visibility?
Governance (20 %) — Are systems inventoried, classified, and designed with oversight and audit trails?
People (15 %) — Are teams trained for changed roles, and is adoption owned and measured?
